The Scams101 Message Board is a good place to start. What's that? You've found a Biz Op and you're wondering if it's endorsed by FIB?... Not unless it's listed in MaaMaw's Magnificent Toolbox. |

I am a hard working mom, that has a full time job, and oh yeah, I also work 40 hours a week outside the home. HAHAHAHA! I have been looking for something that would give me the opportunity to work from home in my pj's and just rake in the money. Stupid me, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid!!!!! I have found out that that dream is not going to happen, or at least not overnight! I seem to fall into things so easily and lose money left and right. I am tired of losing money, I want to make money. Right now I want to just make enough to supplement my other job. I tend to be gullible and I hate that. I have fallen into a couple of those "home party" home business' that tell you "work as much or as little as you want" and then your up-line either disappears or hounds you if you can't make it to the "not mandatory, but you need to be there" meetings. You are the bees knees while you are busting your hump to get through the intial "make this much, and you can earn a higher precentage of your sales, and you must reach this certain goal in order to qualify". There has been two different times that I have done that and reached over my goal, and then when I needed help to expand to more people, there was no help from that "amazing" up line and team leader. I am sick to death of trying to sell stuff to people that didn't really want to be invited to the stupid "party" in the first place. I am not a bad sales person, but I hate the having to deal with the back office stuff that made it so much harder. I was all the time having a great 'show' and then having to call the hostess or the customer and get them to change their order, since what they wanted was mysteriously out of stock. I have spent about $3000.00 replaces, or reordering things for customers since the companies and the up line would not tell me or walk me through returns of broken items, and wrong orders. I have shelves and shelves of stuff in my basement from "kits" that no one seems to want to buy, even at a yard sale for a couple of dollars. So far I love what I have seen on this site and I no longer feel alone, or stupid, or lazy, or unmotivated, or any of the things that I have been called by the so called "helpful up lines" that only helped me onto therapy!

| PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
