That's great!!

Do I have *TWO* PCMCIA card slots though? (If yes, they're so very close on top of each other, it's hard to tell; I always thought there was just one.)

I have my D-Link AirPlus wireless router doohinky in one of the slots. It's flat going in, but at the outside end, it's thicker. Is it safe to assume all cards are made like this and they will both fit??

I did buy a 2.0 hub, but like you said, Mel, it's "still snarking." Will this card keep it from snarking? Will it be the same as if it had a 2.0 hub in the computer?

(I'm hesitant because the location will mean I have to buy a 10 ft USB cable, which is another $30 -- $70 total. This new "GigaWare USB 2.0 4-port hub" I bought was $30 total, and money is very tight. If it's doing the same thing, I might as well use it instead and ignore the snarking.)

ABOUT THE QUALITY:

Does it make any sense to you that it prints decently when the camera card plugs directly into the printer -- but all the pictures already in the computer are completely worthless? (Hideous colors, grainy, lines across the page.)

Same on Picasa, KodakGallery, Camedia, Paintshop, you name it. Awful!

And these are the EXACT same pictures I can print okay from the card. It's so disappointing -- I'm still going to have to take pictures to Costco to print because the ones on this laser aren't worth it.
