My point is, that my life did take a turn around at that point. No, I did not start making $1,000 a day or even $100 a day. What happened was I got a check for $2,000 in the mail from a young man I mentored forty years ago who wanted to thank me for counseling him in his time of trial. He said it "turned my life around. This check is my thanks for your taking time to listen to me." Now doesn't that sound like your typical scam hype? Yu bet your sweet bippie it does! It's the kind of warm fuzzy we all want to hear, and maybe, maybe sometime will happen to us.
I am a retired master electrician, age seventy five who just can't work the fast paced construction jobs anymore. I used up my unemployment checks long ago and when money started to run out I cried out... "God?" And in that quiet place inside my soul I seemed to hear... " I'm working on it already, I'm working on it!" That week I got an offer to drive a shuttle van to the airport, part time, minimum wage (plus some tips). It isn't much but it pays all my bills and whenever there are unexpected bills... tips somehow get larger and more frequent. What is the point? If you are looking for a helping hand, look on the end of each arm; God gave you two of them. Work the task He sets before you as long as you can, as best as you can. When you need it, and only then, He will open the door of opportunity for you. Be prepared to go through it. Trust God to set you a task you can handle. So, when I saw Oprah's face and name in the bait, I rose to it. Hey! I have one honking powerful PC here, DSL and all. Put it together myself! And once again I heard that quiet small voice somewhere in my soul say... "Google it!"
