After reading through this thread, I realized that something was missing that could actually spread the word more about your pony rides and bring you more business.

Everyone here has given you some great advice about the store, your rides, the photos taken, but one spot in the ointment has been overlooked.

Who is the satisfied customer here? It's the children! Even though you are working for the store, your rides are also a medium of future income.

Which makes me ask, "What do the children get to take home?" Like any father or mother knows, it's not the children who want the photo taken, it's the parents. So in essence it is the parents who have the keepsake for the memories and not the child.

I would like to suggest that you consider giving away wooden nickles so them cow girls and cow pokes can show & tell their friends.

Lanyards, Neckware and Convention Accessories

Think about it, before the kids jump off the ponies, you give them each a wooden nickle as a souvenir, and tell them, "Make sure to tell all your friends and show them your 'OLD WEST MONEY'!"

On the back of the wooden nickle it could simply say:

Pony Rides & Parties
Call 706-564-0160

Now you have spread your name further and reached out to people who might not generally think of your business. Being a father of 5, when my children find out one of their friends told them about something they did, all of of sudden they want to do it. And guess who opens up his wallet.
