As the Black Sheep Geek, I bet you end up giving lots of advice about what to buy and what to steer away from to your friends, right? There's bunches of us BSGs out here and lots of times our buddies don't take our golden words as seriously as they should.

There's a kazillion sites on "internet marketing" but there's not a vast number of "computer hardware and software reviews for internet marketers" (at least, not objective ones. I do run across a bunch that (golly gee) review with great praise the very things they make money from.

For instance, one office that I did some support work in had a printer (HP, at that) which had the buttons labeled in Chinese. There were no Chinese speakers (or readers) in the office and nobody knew what all those little buttons did. The thing was apparently ordered from a discount house and the person doing the ordering didn't pay close attention to the full description.

I bet you've got a bunch of horror stories you could tell as well as some geeky advice on simple stuff folks need to know (like the constant admonition to "BACK STUFF UP").

Anyway, you might play to your strengths and consider something geeky for your online presence.
