FIB - Scams 101

Need a "Project" for Dad (long post)

I know this is like asking the nearly impossible, but I'm hoping maybe SOMEONE has had a similar experience and might spark an idea for me.
My 86 year old dad is neck deep in at least one major scam, including the theft of his identity. He has always been out for the quick buck and the get-rich-quick scheme. This time, he's in serious enough trouble that it might break him of the habit of falling for anything. No telling how much money he's lost over the years! Anyway, the family is trying to come up with an idea for something legit he could do to make some money, that would keep him occupied, hold his interest, actually show a profit, and keep him out of trouble. As difficult as that sounds, in addition, he's almost totally blind, recently relocated to a VERY small farming community in mid-America, has no knowledge of computers, can't type and couldn't see it if he did.
Given all these overwhelming restrictions- has anyone else faced this and found a worthy project for a retired parent with equal handicaps? Suggestions? Brainstorms?

        Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.
