Apparently it's not Forex trading....

My reaction to this one is "ugh"

Now... let me add that Ethics is high on my list of "things I want from a mentor." This guy kicked himself out of the ballpark when he wrote:
>>> "Because what I came up with involved... Stealing! It wasn’t illegal.
>>> You’ see I wasn’t stealing anything of physical value. I was “stealing”
>>> other people’s online incomes. In fact I was halfway to Robin Hood. I’d
>>> steal from the rich, but I hadn’t got round to giving to the poor. My
>>> methods involved a discovery of how I could accurately estimate the
>>> revenue a website was generating, to within $200. I’d then “Steal” there
>>> idea. I’d recreate their website, and all I needed to invest was around
>>> $20 in each of “my ideas”."

Right there, he says that ethics aren't much of a concern. Typically someone who feels others are there for their use is NOT a good person to have as a mentor/business advisor... because they'd take your money and not care if you got nothing out of it.

At least, that's what he's implying.

To quote from another source, his "system" involves "joining studiotraffic, dxinone, ebay selling, casino betting system, online surveys". There's a few reports that people have made some money but more reports of "I got this in spam mail... is it any good?"

One of our basic tests here is "if it came in spam mail, someone's not doing very well with this."

Other red flags to consider:

* his headline -- "here is a way to make money that has never yet failed" -- I don't find that believable. EVERY moneymaking method fails at some point and for some set of conditions (people lose interest in the product or a better one comes along, for instance.)

* his ethics statement (see above)

* the "newspaper story"... looks good but you notice you can't check the newspaper name to see if it's real? And his site doesn't say what state he's in (I think it's California)?

* conflicting data from others posting about it... something about a "web store" (I suspect you're joining HIS affiliate programs, so it makes him rich but not you), "for US residents only", etc, etc.

* reports that it's just "clickbank advertising" (which you can learn for free... this seems to be correct, based on his video. (note... I could very easily fake that video. I don't know what his computer skills are and I'm not saying it's faked, but it can be faked.)

* very vague details about what you'd be doing and a misleading name.

Now... I see a lot of cheerleaders for this on the web. I'm a tad suspicious, though. If you're interested in this, grab some of the free materials on clickbank and see if that kind of thing is for you BEFORE you consider buying a course/opportunity (since what he's doing is clickbank, it'll be easier if you already know how to use clickbank.) I wouldn't go into it myself... the whole website and all gives me a "creepy feeling" and it's not someplace I'd throw my hard earned money.

If you're interested in currency trading (the REAL Forex), start with this blog (it's Aussie but it'll give you a feel for things):

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so.  We are not responsible or liable for any claim arising from the content of any such discussions or postings or for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information contained within such locations on the Site.

By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example.         In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
