Seems to be a reasonable operation, for those looking to attempt retail on eBay. However, one of the rules that drives eBay is the law of supply vs. demand. If the supply exceeds the demand, the bidders will turn your category into bargain day.

It's easy to have people quoted on getting 100-300% return on their auctions, but another thing to show you how you can duplicate it. The more people they sign up, the more competition you will have as a buyer from Salehoo. Then you have the possibility of multiple sellers, including those not using Salehoo, all posting the same products, giving the buyers more choices.

If I'm shopping for a retail item on eBay, I'll generally go with a Power Seller or at least a seller with a high volume and high satisfaction ranking, if both have the same product. So, the rookies have a harder time competing.

Many don't have the money to buy products at wholesale, so this definitely isn't for everyone who sells on eBay. Some of those doing best have carved out their own niche, and unless you buy up the majority of a Salehoo product offering, you won't own that niche.

But, for $67, if it is money you can spare, why not give it a shot, as long as you are committed to following through, investing in products, and posting them to eBay. You might want to batch your sales, so you aren't standing in line at the Post Office 3 and 4 days per week to mail all those individual boxes.

If you do pursue this, would you please come back and post your results, good, great, or otherwise.

I tried purchasing "closeout" merchandise in quantity years ago, and found the best offers were grabbed up in bulk by those who had:

1) Lots of capital

2) The ability to move a large volume quickly

3) Were closer to the warehouse, so they could pick up products. The shipping cost can sometimes eat up a large portion of your markup.

4) Could absorb the loss if they made a bad purchase, and had to liquidate products at whatever price they could get.

Retail, especially discount retail didn't appeal to me.

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
