Most of us here aren't big on MLMs, while a some are hard-core anti-MLM. You'd get a better response posting your question over on www.MLM.com where the business model is praised in all kinds of variants.

Even on MLM.com, some will admit that you have to build a downline of 1000+ to generate much of an income. It works better in those companies where selling the products is encouraged, vs. the number that primarily promote consumption for the dealers and push recruiting for income.

I personally haven't heard of FreeLife, so have absolutely no knowledge of the opportunity or products.

At least with some downline, you are one of the small percentage that will probably achieve a positive return on your investment. If you do decide to get out, at least you have the option of selling your downline to another distributor to increase your return on investment. Many don't have enough downline for it to be meaningful.
