In Response To: Re: CarbonCopyPRO - outrageous claims. Scam, or it has a dram of reality? (Michael J McMillan)

Jay and Mike are with Wealth Master's International whose CEO is Kip Herriage and president is Karl Bessey. I was a "founding consultant" with the company back in March of 2005(?). I wised up quickly and hated the idea that I was a marketing an "opportunity" and NOT a product.

Their product is financial education which is easily located online and there is no need to pay $3000-3500 for it. I went to their M2 event and they had really good speakers but unless you had the money to invest, not really worth the exhorbent price. They now have an M3 which I believe runs in excess of $12000.

They have a Wealth Acceleration Program which is basically a financial planner refinances your home and then you use equity to escalate the payoff of your lowest debt building up to the highest (usually your mortgage). Simple stuff. I was the first client to go through the process with their alliance Axis Advisors out of OH (they are no longer....for good reason!) and the finanical planners took the $3000 I paid them and dissappeared. When I went to Kip and Karl because I was out $3000 and did not get what I was promised from their alliance they did not readily stand behind their product.....I simply got a "too bad, so sad, we got screwed too" attitude. This really struck a nerve because I thought I was "friends" with Kip and Karl. I complained heavily and filed a BBB complaint. It was only at that point that they had their NEW financial alliance contact me and work with me and even then they told me the guy was doing it as a FAVOR to THEM. This is how they took care of a friend and a founding member (MY money helped START their empire).

Needless to say I haven't spoken to either of them in several years. Their product is modeled after Emerald Passport and Global Prosperity. Both Kip and Karl have been in the "network marketing" (MLM!) field for many years and have made ALOT of money. They are very present in WMI and make them selves "avaialble" but look out if you cross them or question them.

Once I decided I could not market an opportunity but I would utilize their alliances because I paid to be a lifetime member I no longer received updates or emails on what was happening within the company. You either market or your out seems to be their philosophy. Seems to me if you pay to be a lifetime member you should continually be informed of new alliances and information. Not so.

This was where I got my degree in hard knocks. They easily slip under the radar of being a scam.....but I certainly wouldn't waste my money knowing what I know now. There is other information on them at Rip-off Report. They are a very new company and are pretty much a glorified EPI.

Hope this helps

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example.         In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
