In Response To: Miligroup (Tina Kinder)

I joined the MILI Group a few months ago. DO NOT JOIN! I spent over $2,000 promoting my 'business' before I discovered that the people at MILI have no idea what they are doing. Consider the following:

-I did not make any money. Nobody on my team made any money. My District Manager, who raked in a bunch of transactions buying and selling for his recruits when the market was good and got so confident he quit his job also no longer makes any money.

-I went to the MILI expo, which they called "Top Gun", and the California REALTOR(R)'s expo within a week of each other. The difference in professionalism was akin to watching kids play touch football in their backyard and then going to a San Diego Charger's game. The 'experts' at MILI have no idea what they are doing.

-At "Top Gun", a presenter gave an audience member $60 for raising her hand, and the audience *gasped*. "Wow, sixty dollars!" somebody shouted. Just like you would expect from a crowd of broke losers.

-The top producers make their money by bugging every single person they see. It's called the "3 foot rule". The top producer in my branch once tried to motivate us by saying "Every time I go to a gas station, I get every person's number who is there! Are you willing to do that for your business?" Nobody raises their hand, but he's right. That's what you have to do to make money... professionally bug people.

-There is no 'business'. The focus is entirely on inviting. If there is any training at all on how to professionally buy and sell real estate to and from people who don't want to 'sign up' for their own 'business', it is of poor quality and is given by managers who have done their own independent research in hopes of squeezing a few extra bucks from their peons.

-Builders who can't unload their homes because nobody is buying them dump them at MILI. They offer incentives, like two year's paid rent, knowing that it still won't end up being worth it. These kind of incentives get the managers all excited because "now is the best time to buy" (now meaning always), and of course the only way they make money is if one of their peons buys or sells something. They get their money from commission overrides, and won't have to hassle with selling the property at a huge loss when the 'two years paid rent' are over.

-In California, you can't legally get a commission for doing your own real estate transaction (it creates a conflict of interest). However, you can at MILI because of some back-door work-around system they use. Someday, this will end up before the courts, and I would not want to be the guinea-pig agent for that case.

Thank you, and have a nice day. And PLEEEEASE save your money. If you want to get rich, get some experience working at a high-paying job where you can learn enough to start your own business.

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
