FIB - Scams 101

Over a year ago I wrote a few articles about travel and submitted them with my link to many article directory sites. They are all floating around in cyberspace now, and one in particular is listed in numerous places.

However, during a brief check, I saw that my resource link had been deleted about 15% of the time by various sites using the article. This violates the TOS of every directory that posted it and defeats the initial purpose of writing it to begin with - backlinks, site visitors, etc.

On the one hand, I'll be honest and say I don't really care about this article because I am no longer actively promoting the product mentioned in the link, though the site is still up.

BUT, it also ticks me off that the owners of the sites posting my article are just blatantly ripping it off. Especially since I'm about to start writing a new batch and now wonder if they'll be credited properly.

So, if you were me, what would you do?
