>> Has anyone taken the online WPS Certification Course from the Computer
>> Career Institute? If so, did you use their job referral service and have
>> you been able to make money at this? See www.computercareerinstitute.net.
>> It certainly is an impressive website. Real or Scam?
THE BOTTOM LINE after reading every post and response AND doing my OWN research (PRIOR to reading the posts/responses) regarding this highly touted SCAM is JUST SAY NO!
Every post/response replicates my own research: no viable addresses (p.o. boxes); no returned phones calls; no returned emails (all despite repeated entreaties); fictitious "consumer reporters"; fictitious publications; fictitious TV/radio stations; fictitious BBB ratings; no internet searches reflecting either good OR bad reviews (eye opener); no pending lawsuits.
The list is endless and is really a synopsis of what each post author is trying to emphasize/convey. Iím fortunate to have a very suspicious nature and saved myself $249.00. HOWEVER, that does NOT mean I have not been scammed before (shame on me)!
Once you realize that sheer DESPERATION is your REAL motivator, all these get-rich-quick schemes render you vulnerable. They make you salivate! Notice this: When you are "flush" (not in financial straits) youíre not tempted to shell out money to make money. BUT: When youíre flat broke and don't know where your next penny is coming from, the bill collectors are camping out on your doorstep, (they'd be calling you 24/7 except that the phone company disconnected your service due to non-payment), and living in your soon-to-be-repo'd car is looking like a good alternative (because the house is nearing foreclosure) you are the most vulnerable.
I sympathize with one writer who is beyond broke. I'm in the same boat and very nearly close to the above BUT since I OWE everyone else in the world $$$ I also feel I OWE someone else in the same situation the honest advice: DON'T BUY INTO THIS SCAM.
Good luck to ALL of us who are just scrabbling to stay alive.

| PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
