A few years back, I did video taping for insurance purposes.
I was even hooked up with the local police department, who recommended my service at some of their seminars for homeowners regarding home security.

I would stress that the original tape would be left with the homeowner, so I had no record of it to copy or duplicate for devious purposes.

I did a few, but not enough to really make it worthwhile for me. Seems most folks around here don't want some stranger poking through their personal possessions, which I could understand.

Nowadays, most folks have their own video or digital camera and can do it on their own if they have the gumption. People are hardheaded about this, just as renters are about renter's insurance.

Your area of the country may be different than mine, and you could have good success.
