The Scams101 Message Board is a good place to start. What's that? You've found a Biz Op and you're wondering if it's endorsed by FIB?... Not unless it's listed in MaaMaw's Magnificent Toolbox. |

FIB - Scams 101
Re: So he talks a good talk

Bill - I totally agree with you, and I wouldn't have "jumped in" based solely on the seminar, although it was quite different than any other phone "seminars" I've ever been on. He talked for over an hour and a half, and completely laid out his whole business model. I can actually do everything he does based on that info alone. He did offer something in the last 2 minutes of the seminar, and that was basically a set up package that only 4 people could license - basically him creating the whole project for you, and you giving him $5 out of every $99 sale. The cost of the whole package (which includes 5000 postcards printed and mailed) was $1495. Like I said, I would love to do it this way, as it would be quicker and smoother, but I could set it all up on my own based on the free info he gave in the seminar -nothing was held back, which is unusual. They usually want you to pay to get the full deal, if you know what I mean. Now, apart from not having the $$, I wouldn't have signed up just based on the seminar. I've already done some research on him with the BBB and validating some of the items that he laid out in his seminar. So far, everything matches. I obviously have no benefit in convincing you or anyone, but as you have requested, I will let you all know how it goes. It will be between 1-2 months from now before I post again, as he won't release another project (for only 4 licencees) until a month from now, I'm guessing. He didn't say, but I have emailed him. I'm guessing a month, as his first licensee roll-out was 4 weeks ago. Thanks, Jen

| PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
