FIB - Scams 101
Hiya, Canuck (I'm one too)... I just signed up for your free course...

not because I'm interested in changing what's working for me or adding any extra potatoes to the pot but because I didn't see a lot of hype on your site and I thought it would be fair to look further before bashing you (and it).
You didn't ask, but I noticed a couple of things about your website:
--> If I were you, I'd put some white space around the text rather than mashing it up against the black border, and
--> I found this very bugsome: "I found a ____ then I wrote a ____ and a month later I got my first extra paycheck!"Anyhoo, that is neither here nor there. If you're making money with it, who cares.
I haven't had a chance to read the first installment yet, but here's my guess:
--> You aren't making this money ONLY by selling Clickbank products as an affiliate,
--> and while I don't doubt your good intentions, I don't think you're giving the course away strictly because it makes you happy to help people duplicate your success.I suspect a hefty portion of your commission checks can be attributed to the fact (I'm guessing here) that your course directs people to take certain steps to sign up for various affiliate programs as your subaffiliate.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with that --
and furthermore, if I'm right and your subaffiliates are raking in a lot of that cash for you, then they're making sales, so everybody wins.
I want to make it clear that I am not attacking you, and everything I'm saying comes from making a few educated guesses after reading your website -- I have not (I repeat, NOT) read any of the course yet.
Like I said, if this is the case, then nobody loses, and that's great.
My only problem would be that I'm compulsively honest, and I don't like most of the "How To Make Money With Affiliate Programs" sites because they make their money from...
--> subaffiliate sales and/or
--> the courses they sell for big buckswhile leading people to believe it's all from affiliate sales. Thus, people who buy their courses think they can make the same kind of money JUST making affiliate sales.
See where I'm going with this?? (Sorry for the winding road, but that's the way I get everywhere.)
I like what you said -- I like that it's free -- and call me stupid, but I believe those are your checks and you're doing very well with this.
It's the "more to it" that bothers me (if I'm right).
Oh... and if Roadie's right and "free" it ain't (i.e., if it is going to cost me to get the "how to" particulars), then I will undoubtedly be singing a different tune next time.
Luv,
MaaMaw
P.S. More about this after I get a chance to see the course.

| PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
