Please help with income ideas for my new anti-drug website

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if I could get your opinions on a website that I just put up, HowToQuitHeroin.com

As of, now all I have is the main page and an article I found on the net.. and even though I'm not a writer, I want to start writing my own articles explaining to my visitors how I quit heroin and stayed off of it for 15 years.. I'm 35 now and I havent touched heroin since I was 21...

I want to set up programs where people can help other people quit heroin since most users don't have medical insurance to pay for rehab centers..

For example, a qualified sponser could be someone who understands heroin addiction and the profile of an addict, who lives cross country, far from the city, in the woods, on a farm ect, who would take a user into their home and help them quit cold turkey or with medical help such as prescriptions etc..

I have other ideas as well such as seeing if people who do have medical insurance can help other users by adding them to thier medical insurance to pay for rehab and send them across country or as far away from the addicts home town as possible...

I want to add a the largest directory of rehab centers across the world with resources ect.. and most important, a forum, just like this one, where people can interact and try to help each other...

I don't have it all figured out just yet but I am now at the planning phase and putting it all on paper. I have the domain name, hosting, main page etc...

I want to make 'helping people quit heroin' my full time job. I want to do something positive for others while in this life time. We only live once.

My question is, do you folks feel that I could turn this subject of quitting heroin into a high traffic website and earn an income from google ads, donations, banner ads ect?

Once I finish the site, articles, forum, directories etc, How could I monitize the site to earn an income from it in order to make it my full time job and still get to help people all around the world for free? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
