(always wanted to say that)Calvin, Jim, nor I have anything to sell here. I paid off my mortgage by increasing my monthly payment. It helped that I didn't give a UFF agent $3500 that would have slowed my mortgage repayment.
Sue has a gift for compressing the smallest amount of knowledge into the largest number of words, and she is either unable to grasp the math behind the MMA or she willfully misleads people that it is better than simple prepayment. Many other agents like "..." are more succinct, but just as wrong.
Calvin is right. This cat-and-mouse game has been going on for over a year, where UFF critics like ourselves challenge UFF agents like Sue to show the money movements and interest charges that show the MMA beating simple prepayment (income - expenses = monthly prepayment). The UFF agents can't do it, or won't do it. They usually disappear. The best attempt was by an agent on the Fatwallet.com forums. By the end of the simulation, the agent admitted that the MMA couldn't beat simple prepayment. A handful of UFF agents also admit this.
So, the critics insist the MMA is a slower way to repay your mortgage and have produced mathematical simulations and proofs, a handful of UFF agents even agree, but most MMA agents still insist the MMA is faster and avoid direct numerical comparisons that would prove it.
The MMA is just an overpriced, underperforming, dangerous mortgage repayment system.
