Thanks for the kind words, Dennis. I was primarily involved in selling online advertising. Essentially, I set up local websites and sold ad space to businesses operating in those areas. Some businesses had good results with it and others got no results. It became a real challenge driving the type of traffic to these sites that resulted in consistent results for the businesses who advertised on them.
I also worked as a K&B sales rep. for a few years. I've been a fan of your posts for years and admire the success you've achieved in your business. As someone who has spent a good part of my career selling advertising, I consider your accomplishments in the industry to be very impressive. I think it's hard for people who have never sold advertising to fully appreciate what it is you've accomplished in your field. As you know, businesses get a seemingly endless supply of offers from folks trying to sell them all different sorts of advertising. Your success, despite this environment, warrants a long overdue kudos to you as well.
