For all those who are newbies to StoresOnline (SOL), if you go looking you will almost alays find more negative than positive when product is being offrd through seminar. I am a satisfied customer of StoresOnline having done business with them since 2004. I currently have 3 websites published with them:

I've posted on every site hat I have come accross wih negative comments about this company/product. I always end up saying the same things.
The bottom line here, is that when you go to thes seminars, the discussion is built to make the product sound good and easy. The product is good and easy. Folks are missing that SOL is selling a product, not a business, The product is easy to use, but the business is not easy to get right. The technology is constantly changing and you hav to continually educate yourself. It won't happen over night, but in time you see the progress. Your success in internet retail has nothing to do with how many storebuilders you buy from SOL or how well you follw the advice they give you. Success depends on the product you are selling, it's cost, and your marketing. All of which is outside of the realm of what you buy from SOL. Sure, they may offer you some things to "help" with marketing, but it is your choice to purchase these extras. The extra training, I can't speak for because I didn't purchase it. My motto is "Never pay someone to do things you don't know how to do. Only pay someone to do things you don't have time to do." You have to dig in and tach yourself the business to be successfull. I have a strong IT background and the website building was simple for me. The marketing I had to learn from the ground up.
People should stop looking to have thier hands help and do your own homework. Those guides are meant to be tutors, not slaves to your work. If it is the price you are concerned about, then you shouldn't buy it. Investing money that you cannot afford to lose is always a bad idea, no matter what the business is. PLEASE NOTE: I am willing to answer justified questions about the company and the product, but I do not have the time to hold your hand through the process. If you would like that kind of time, perhaps we can arrange some sort of payment arrangement. But remember what I said about paying someone to do what you don't know how to do.
