This is what I mean by "making a living on the Internet" --

I mean my husband brings home an average of $1200 a month, which doesn't go very far.

I "bring home" (exclusively on the internet) between 2-1/2 and 4 times that much, depending upon various factors -- some of which are within my control and many of which are not.

I can increase that significantly simply by updating my websites, participating on my own board like I used to, participating on other boards like I did in my past life, writing the occasional article, etc.

What I'm trying to say is that it has come to the point where increasing my income is easy, but it requires time and consistency -- which I don't have at this point.

And -- this is critical -- when I have to get "on the road again" (the story of my life these days), the money keeps coming.

My daughter was sick (ER kind of sick) on Monday and missed two days of work. She doesn't get paid for that.

My husband had knee surgery. He gets good sick leave, but he used it all up.

My "Internet Money" just keeps on coming.

Like Dennis said, it's all relative. In a good month, we can pay our bills and have a nice amount left over. In a mediocre month, we can pay our bills and have a little left over. In a terrible month, we can pay our bills.

And if my husband lost his income, we could get by (losing the insurance would be another story). But then I would just have to rearrange my life, work my tail off, and bring my Internet income way up -- which I am confident I could do.

And finally, we have no retirement. None at all. My Internet income is our retirement.

Thank you, Corey Rudl, for teaching me -- and for teaching Derek Gehl to keep IMC going strong in case anything happened to you. Ya done good :-)
