Hello Amy,

Dennis here to answer your question. Yes the rules apply differently to regulars compared to lurkers and drive-by posters who aren't known to the mods.

No one gets to post here and do hard sale advertisements for their opportunity or website and include the link in the body. The link must be posted in the appropriate place at the bottom.

When a post is all about promoting your company or opportunity, adding the link at the bottom is prohibited, as spelled out in the "Rules for Posting". Most forum sites have rules or "TOS" (Terms of Service) that posters must follow or subject their post to being edited or deleted.

My post was a reply, giving information about many options, and explaining that some MLM companies focus on selling products to end users, while others put much more emphasis on recruiting and building downlines. I mentioned Pampered Chef and Tupperware as examples of companies who have focused on selling their product far more than on recruiting. (I know that may not be the case for some Pampered Chef or Tupperware reps, but they are individuals.)

i realize some people
>> have been here forever and are frequent posters. i have been a lurker for

Sorry, but Kaeser & Blair is not Multi-Level Marketing. I do sponsor other dealers, and receive override compensation based on their sales, but their is no downline of 2 to infinity of further recruits that I receive compensation on. Strictly on my personal recruits who I offer support and assistance. One layer of sales and one layer of sponsoring do not add up to Multi-level.

whether mr.

Exactly, commissions on my $250K average annual sales, plus override compensation on those who I personally sponsor. If they sponsor someone, they receive the override compensation, and I get nothing. It's not MLM.

it is like that in any mlm, you can make a decent

>> MORE. i realize that a lot of people on this board dont like mlm, thats

So citing the FTC's 93% or greater failure rate for all MLM's is bashing? Sounds like politicians who complain when any quotes their voting record.

>> i agree that people need to check into all opportunities, that is

>> is not fair. maybe they have the drive to succeed. you arent the judge

I think I pointed out that for most people in MLM (those in the 3 to 7% who didn't fail), the success (money) comes from recruiting others, who you train to recruit others, ad nauseum. Those who make good income in MLM fall into two camps -

Those who are professional recruiters, and those who are selling products where the product is the focus, i.e., Tupperware, Pampered Chef, etc.

>> ok i am done now. this will probably get nuked, but i dont care. but

Not nuked, just answered point by point.

Here's a list of helpful criteria to use for evaluating any bizopp your may be considering.

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
