It pops up whenever AWAI is googled. Katy Yeakle, Ford's longtime top lackey, even posted here herself a few years ago.
So you're either also a Ford lackey, or you're not a professional copywriter. Those are the two choices. No professional copywriter with experience in the real world of business could read Ford's drivel and not recognize it for what it is -- trivial nonsense, half-truths and self-serving lies.
Ford has never written a control for a legitimate product. I'll say that again just for emphasis: Ford has never written a control -- a sales letter or sales blurb -- for a legitimate product. All his work has been done for his own companies, none of which have ever been legitimate. After the government closed down American Media Group and issued a cease and desist order against Ford, he went to work for Bill Bonner at Agora, and wrote deceptive copy for him, promoting bogus financial products, as usual. Then he came back to Florida and set up AWAI. He's never sold a single hair dryer, mattress, automobile, umbrella or tube of toothpaste. He's never worked for a real company as an employee, contract copywriter or consultant.
There's a certain mentality that respects guys like Ford. The worship of money and self which oleaginously oozes out of his prose finds fellow travelers all too easily. But no honest or ethical person can long be exposed to Ford's scams without recognizing him for who and what he is -- a fraud.
