To cancel the icarekit go to discontinue.icarekit.com the website they had posted said tp gp to icarekit.com I went to it and the site was COMING SOON...same with the support.icarekit.com...or at least it took me several hours of trying different sites...this one will probably change before you can cancel....
I was playing Farm Town on Facebook when a """get free coins""" opportunity popped up...after about an hour of trying to finish a survey ????? to get free coins THAT I NEVER RECEIVED I finally chose the two cheapest options to get out!!! One was the $1.97 'icarekit/ Learn how to set up and sell on Ebay' and 'Berry MD" $2.97. I waited for my carrer kit and received nothing by US mail...but I did receive two bottles one Berry thin and a ColoSlim (awwwhh an added bonus I DID NOT EVEN ASK FOR) charged later on cc card $9.97 FOR COLOSLIM. All together for the supposed 2 offers (under $5 altogether) I was charged $270.60.
WOW I did not realize the kit came via email so I did not even open till today 8-1-09 after seeing my account was charged over $270 over the coarse of under 3 weeks...BEWARE! NOTHING IS WHAT IT APPEARS Oh and even if you do use this icarekit to set up a webpage...ebay...commerse...you better read the fine print (WHERE I FOUND THE DISCONTINUE.ICAREKIT.COM) becaUse it reads that as long as you are paying for the service you can use but once canceled you loose use ownership...of YOUR pages...>> I just had a bad learning experience with this company. icareerkit.com
>> will teach you how to make millions on ebay or so they claim. I never even
>> got that far. I stumbled upon this lovely little company through one of
>> those survey based questionaires where they want you to participate in
>> sponser offers to receive a "free" gift. Well what I read was
>> that for $1.97 for shipping and handling they would send me my
>> "free" ebay kit. What I received after they got my $1.97 was a
>> link to a website where I could download my free ebay kit. Where did the
>> $1.97 for shipping and handling go? Who knows!! Well I never downloaded
>> the ebay kit because what else I read was as long as I didn't access or
>> activate the site I wouldn't be charged the $69.95 monthly fee for helping
>> you to make money on ebay. Well, guess what bad information, because they
>> charged my debit card for $69.95 anyway, even though I never even accessed
>> thier site let alone activated my account. What I was told when I called
>> that famous 888 number was that they were unaware of any survey type
>> referral and that the $1.97 was for the trial offer and since I didn't
>> cancel before the trial ran out, they charged me for the service even
>> though I didn't access their site or activate my account. Just the fact
>> that I paid the $1.97 made it possible for them to take my money even
>> though they provided no service for it.

| PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
