Genie 3.0 will be released August 29th, 2009. This totally revamped Genie will carry many more commissionable ecommerce opportunities for Genie distributors. Yes, you CAN earn commissions on sales that result from a click-thru from your distributed Genies.
It doesn't matter what the customer purchased. Their prices are not affected at all by your sales commission. Genie users are not aware of these behind-the-scenes transactions. And, it is important to know that Genie distributors are not privy to the usage of their distributed Genies, meaning, for those who are concerned that the Genie might be tracking their search and purchase habits, this is definitely NOT the case!
The My Shopping Genie software is somewhat similar to those of you who may run Commission Junction or Linkshare (or other network) text ads or banners on your websites. If a sale results from a click-thru, you earn a commission.
The primary difference is, with the Genie, NO ONE HAS TO COME TO YOUR WEBSITE FOR YOU TO EARN! The Genie appears magically whenever someone who has downloaded and installed the Genie goes to Bing, Yahoo, MSN, Google and other major search engines, and enters terms in the search field.
The Genie makes it much quicker and easier to organize the search results, sort by product price, and compare prices from different ecommerce sites. The Genie is great for searching for information, too, not just products. The Genie will do local searches as well (if the user has entered that information at the time of installation).
Distributors may put their logo and link-back to their website on their Genies. Many brick-and-mortar store owners use the Genie to keep in close touch with their customers. They advertise special sales, the daily menu, whatever, on their Genies. Non-profit groups use the Genie to remind members of meetings, make special announcements, solicit donations. Political candidates use the Genie to stay in touch with contributors or supporters. Endless possibilities!
The one-time fee of $199 to become a licensed distributor is a drop in the bucket for those who do heavy advertising, and nowhere else can you be guaranteed to appear on the first page of a Google search, regardless of what keywords were entered!? The $29 monthly licensing fee is extremely reasonable. Configuring your Genie is easy. Changing your text ad is easy. And, yes, you can earn $1 for every download (up to $200 a month), plus match-pay on the Genie downloads of anyone you introduce to the company.
My Shopping Genie is FREE to download. Give it a try! Right now, it is PC only, but after August 29th, it will have a Mac version as well. Anyone who now has a Genie will be alerted that a new version is available and upgrading is also free, and it is easy to do.
Check it out. See how much you can save on things you purchase regularly. I've heard real testimony from folks who own businesses and purchase supplies regularly; they've saved hundreds of dollars by finding the identical products for less through the Genie.
