It's not about my mind being made up about anything; I'm quite open to talking about the facts. I read over the FTC's website and they made it quite clear that not all cash gifting clubs are illegal. Not all cash gifting clubs are pyramids or have a 'captain' structure. Making this conclusion is like saying that all Investment firms are Ponzi schemes. You seem to have made a broad generalization which is logically flawed.
What's interesting is that the same arguments that have been made here against gifting clubs were made about about franchises and network marketing companies when they first started gaining traction. They were also called pyramid schemes and faced with the same flawed logic that a few people are using here.
The facts are clear, gifting clubs are legal if they follow this simple guideline (taken directly from the FTC's website): "Consider that a legitimate gift has no strings attached and is not an investment."

I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.
